Programme: Erasmus+

Key Action: KA2 small-scale partnership

Action Type: VET – vocational education and training

Start: 28-02-2022 – End: 27-02-2024

Project Reference: 2021-1-IT01-KA210-VET-000034514

EU Grant: 60.000 EUR

The general objective is to increase professional opportunities in the tourism sector to generate an offer of value and quality that sees theater, artistic representations and tourism in a synergistic work to converge in an innovative way towards a single objective that simultaneously contemplates the development of the territory and travel experience.

This goal will be achieved through the achievement of two other specific objectives, in particular:

  • the development of transversal and cross-sectoral skills of the protagonists of art to facilitate the entry into the tourism sector of artistic expressions as an active and highly innovative part, generating awareness of new professional opportunities and establishing themselves as guarantors of the protection of both the territory and the cultural heritage, material and immaterial.
  • consolidation of the partnership and exchange of good practices. According to the learning by doing method, roles, relationships and opportunities will be defined. Participants will develop operational skills in areas other than their own by responding with resilience and the ability to change in an ever-changing market.

These objectives will be achieved by carrying out activities involving the staff members of the associations that are partners of the consortium. In addition to the kick off meeting just held, necessary to illustrate the aspects that contribute to delineating the boundaries of the project, there will be a virtual training on tourism and a transnational workshop.

Expected results will be the creation of an e-book, in open source digital format, which outlines training courses aimed at art professionals and teachers for the acquisition and growth of skills in the tourism sector and the transversal skills necessary to adapt to the changes underway.

On April 28, 2022, the Kick-off meeting of the project “BUILDING TERRITORIAL BRIDGES for the best travel experience and for the benefit of local communities” took place in Rome. Thanks to this in-person meeting, good interpersonal relationships were established, which are important for the correct and synergistic management of the project. Communication and document sharing tools were defined. The project structure in terms of roles and responsibilities of each individual for good project management was outlined. Communication managers, activity implementation, educational coordination, administration, follow-up, reporting, and risk analysis were identified. An in-depth risk analysis was also conducted, evaluating: potential language barriers among partners that may hinder communication and project implementation; analysis of the presented project to intervene based on the skills of project partners without substantially modifying it either operationally or in terms of expenses; precise evaluation of the objectives of all activities to define their feasibility and the congruence of their costs, particularly in terms of participant mobility, spaces to be used, and any logistical difficulties due to changes subsequent to the project presentation. Brainstorming meetings were scheduled with all partners, and, together with the identification of responsible parties, the frequency with which they must prepare reports for risk analysis and economic reporting was determined.

MASTERCLASS ONLINE

MASTERCLASS ONLINE

Between June and December 2022 the online masterclass of the project took place. Structured as a genuine training program, it consisted of 6 live video lessons. It was developed in collaboration with multiple partners, each contributing according to their specific expertise. This allowed for the creation of a training program aimed at fully satisfying the desired outcomes. Throughout the training, tests and working groups were formulated to facilitate active participation of learners and continuous interaction with themselves, other participants, and the instructors. The training was preceded by a test tailored to the characteristics and backgrounds of the participants (both in artistic and territorial contexts). This enabled the instructors to better prepare and direct the training and understand the participants’ initial level of skills. A further test was conducted at the end of the training to assess the level of skills achieved.

For the learners, daily feedback sheets were prepared, filled out, and submitted to the instructors to test their understanding of the topics covered during the lessons. Subsequently, a thorough analysis and statistical evaluation of the pre- and post-training results were carried out. These results were then utilized for communication, reporting, and were fundamental for transitioning to the next phase of the project. In pursuit of the overarching goal, training was deemed necessary to provide the recipients with the right tools and enable collaboration between the tourism sector and artistic expressions. To effectively enter the tourism sector, in a continuously evolving market full of opportunities, it’s essential to develop cross-sectoral skills that make one visible, accessible, and capable of reaching a new audience through mutual support with other economic operators.

To enable broader dissemination and sustainability, it was chosen to utilize the Facebook platform by creating an open group.

WORKSHOP – GRECIA

Naturalmente, possono apportare modifiche minime all’idea.
